Actress Rashia Whitlock Dishes on Her Love Life and Why She Went TOPLESS in Her Latest Photos!

* Check out my Instagram for more EXCLUSIVE photos from Rashia Whitlock! Connect with me @beautifulz3ta on IG and Twitter!

OK so we haven't heard from you in a while. So first off how are you doing?

I know it has been, Ive been kind of low key just working and or focusing on my career...I'm really good actually in a good and happy space!!

Lets jump right in! Ive been following you on instagram lately and I other then your cute selfies and inspirational posts, I keep seeing a certain someone on your page. A certain someone, who's a rapper and reality TV star who's been all over your page and vice versa, and their have been rumors in the media and much speculation about you two for quite sometime now...so come on Rashia lets set the record straight are you in love?????

Wow your good....good one..but I am dating..someone in particular hmmm you'll have to see....am I in love I would have to say NO....I believe for someone to truly be in love you actually have to be best friends with the person you're in a relationship with, and get to know all of them good and bad and let your heart decide if you're in love. I really believe many friendships, relationships, and marriages are ruined because they jump in love too quickly. I believe you should be good friends with someone first, its the best way to protect both your feelings and heart. Dating in today's society has so many definitions... I think I'm kind of old school lol...dating to me means going out on dates, hanging out, getting to one another, and just having fun which will eventually create something beautiful..LOVE.

I like that...so what type of guys do you like, because it seems to me in your world opposites do attract?

Lol actually I'm very picky to be honest with you. I can literally count on one hand how many guys Ive both dated and been in a relationship with all on one hand. I believe that's because I'm very particular. They have to be funny and adventurous because I get bored easily, have style, a great personality, handsome, very fit and muscular, have to be very career oriented, and most all they have to be a gentleman, and sadly most men don't even know how to be that or what it takes to be a gentlemen these days. Also with my career they cant be insecure, because I'm not insecure. I like to have my space, I'm so focused on my career I don't have time to worry, or feed off who's career I'm dating at the time. Yes your right I've learned opposites do attract, but its actually fun because you introduce each other to new and exciting things. Sometimes what you see on the outside of someone has nothing to do with who they truly are on the inside.

Well that sums that up! You guys have heard it here what it will take to get Miss Whitlock on your arm lol...Now onto something a little more serious. I heard about some rumors a few months ago that you were ill and something terrible had happened.  Can you explain to your fans what happened and where that rumor even came from?

I am actually fine now, just like anyone else I was sick, and was treated for it. I have no clue where that rumor came from. You know as I'm growing in this business I'm learning that sadly you can do so many things right and positive, but so much focus will go on the negative. I will be honest when I finally heard what rumor was going around I was devastated! What was going on with me at the time was a serious situation, but I was still here so to hear that truly upset me, my team, and others very close to me. To take something so serious and turn into a tragedy is not funny at all. Many times we tend to blame so much on the media, but I think what a lot of people have to realize is yes the media can take something so small and turn it into a giant situation, but they're only reacting from what information they're given, so I think people play a major role in what the media says about someone.

We got ahold of your new editorial photos and we have to say they are beautiful! You are a brave soul for going topless in a few of them. Tell us why you chose to do that?

Aww thank you so much!! Yes, I will be honest I was a little nervous, but I agreed and chose to do it in honor of breast cancer awareness month! So often I see people posting things all month about breast cancer, but alot of times I believe its for show. None of us can actually compare, or even feel an inch of what of both survivors and non-survivors of breast cancer go through. Ive also lost someone in my family to breast cancer, and I know a few people who have survived so in honor of them I chose to go topless for this editorial.

I saw on your IMDb that you recently got cast in a movie with Yaya Decosta in it as well! Tell us what this movie is about and how your character fits in.

Yes!! I did very recently actually! I'm very excited about this film, because when I very first started acting on my list of things to do was to be casted in a biopic, and that's what this is! I will be joining the cast of "Bolden". This film is the biopic of Jazz singer Buddy Bolden. Both this role and film remind me of Django, because it is a period piece. I'm very excited, blessed, and honored to get to work on this film! This role is really different for me, which makes it alot of fun, so I don't want to give it away ill just let you all see it!

You've been so quiet lately, but have so many great things happening for you. I  also see that you have a new film coming out in January..Project Almanac.

Yes I am excited about everything, I've just been working so yes it seems like I've been quiet, but filming has been keeping me very busy, and in my eyes that's a blessing! Yes Project Almanac comes out in theaters January 30, 2015. I had a small role in this film, but I absolutely loved my character and actually the movie as a whole. It reminds me of 1900s Farris Buellers day off mixed with modern times. Felt great to be in high school all over again!!

A former Django cast mate of yours, Daniell Watts was recently involved in a very public incident with the police where she was allegedly racially profiled by the LAPD.  What do you think about that story and racism in America in general?

I honestly believe whatever Daniell chooses to do with someone who's not a friend, a boyfriend, or random person but who is her husband is her business. As far as racism in America I honestly believe America is a society that you cant please...I really don't think color has anything to do with it anymore.....

A friend of mine who's in the acting world said that while some have trouble remembering lines or doing impromptu things like scream at the drop of a dime, he said crying is the hardest thing for him to do when in a scene.  Whats a hard technique to master in your opinion?

All actors and actresses are very different, a hard technique for me I would say is just like your friend...crying. Sometimes it happens so naturally for me because ill think about something that's happened that made me cry, where other times I try to do that and it doesn't work lol...so ill think about it over and over then ill finally cry on que lol!

Whats the worst and best piece of advice someone in the industry has given you?

Actually I believe I've been very blessed, because I haven't received any bad advice. I truly that's because I don't listen to everyone. In this industry everyone believes their way is the best way, and everyone thinks they know everything. I'm very selective of who I listen to. Most of the advice I've been given is from people who have actually been in this industry for awhile, been through the ups and downs, but who are very successful. That's who I listen to. Not everyone is worthy of my ear to listen to them!

Whats your all time favorite place to visit and why?

Actually I don't have a favorite place any place that has a beach and a mall...hey I'm good its my favorite. I absolutely love shopping and fashion....and I LOVE the beach doesn't matter where it is!!

Now I researched and i see that you are from Indianapolis, IN. Every year they hold the Circle City Classic football game there, have you ever bee apart of the festivities, and what is  that all about?

Actually yes I have. Last year I participated in the parade, and I'm proud to say I will be participating in the 2014 parade this year. Its a big weekend where two HBCU school battle for the title. I enjoy it, because I myself graduated from a HBCU...Texas Southern University Tigers will always be the best team lol but anyways its going to feel great to get to take time out of my schedule to go home and take part of the festivities in my hometown!!

Is there anything else you want to address or clear up? This is your time to tell all your haters whats really up! Funny thing is I don't see myself as having "haters".

I think the word is so trivial..I just haters as people who had the same 24 hours that I did in a day, and they just chose to do something different with their time and now they're mad about their decisions...so they choose to do, say, or feel negative about someone else...when in reality their just mad and miserable at themselves. Those are people that you don't need around you, and should delete from your presence and life immediately. I don't care if their family, friends, church members, peers etc. Ive done it and it brings you so much happiness and joy. You can give that time to the wonderful people in your life God has blessed you with, and be a blessing to them just as they are to you!! Also just for everyone to be on the lookout all the great things I've been blessed with that are happening. Also I just want to tell everyone or anyone who's reading TO NEVER GIVE UP...always keep going. Life is a journey that your following so no matter what just...keep listening to the GPS(GOD) until he says you've reached your destination don't get off on the nearest exit!!!

Z Ro [Audio] The Crown Produced By Mr Lee

(Houston, TX) - Z-Ro aka The Mo City Don has teamed up with famed Texas producer Mr. Lee for their project, The Crown, now available via iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers. The project is a collaborative effort between Z-Ro and Mr. Lee, who produced the whole album in its entirety. The project also has a Swisha House Remix by Mike "5000" Watts which is available on LiveMixtapes.com. "I just want to shed some positive light on this project," Mr. Lee said. "I have all the respect in the world for Z-Ro and I know his fans will continue to respond to the release of his new music. It was a no brainer for us to work together on this project and finally release it the right way. This is classic Z-Ro, we didn't need any features really, his lyrics stand alone and I'm sure his fans will hear that." While this effort hasn't had the major label push of previous efforts by Z-Ro, the stream of the project had over 26,000 plays on AudioMack in the first week and received positive reviews from The Houston Press, TrapsNTrunks, DirtyGloveBastard, CountryRapTunes. Althogh Mr. Lee is often reserved and behind the scenes, his catalog and production credits are as loud as they come having produced a slew of hits for rappers in the south during the 90's and 2000's, including work with Scarface, UGK, Tupac and The Outlawz, Mary J Blidge Slim Thug. Mr. Lee Production Credits: ("Get Throwed" by Bun B ft Pimp C, Jeezy and Z-Ro; "Sex Faces," "My Homies," by Scarface; Outlawz ft Tupac "Black Jesus"; Mary J Blidge - "Its On"; Slim Thug - "3 Kings" ft T.I. & Bun B; Trae the Truth ft Lil Wayne "Screwed Up"; Slim Thug - "Thug")

Rashia Whitlock Gets Recognition For Her Talent and Potential

Actress Rashia Whitlock is keeping busy this summer and outside of her budding acting career, a passion of hers is fashion.  That’s why seeing her host the 2014 Midwest Fashion Week show in her hometown of Indianapolis was not a surprise to some.  This month, the CEO of RunwayInk, Carisha'Zenitta decided to recognize Rashia for her past accomplishments.

At this year’s 2nd Annual Women’s Empowerment Fashion Event, hosted in Atlanta Georgia, Ms. Whitlock will be listed as a guest of honor and be mentioned for her roles in Django and the upcoming film Pitch Perfect 2.  The night will also celebrate and reward celebrity guest Kalenna Harper, of Diddy Dirty Money for her accomplishments in the music industry.  “To even be mentioned alongside of some powerhouse women in the fashion and entertainment industries like Kalenna is such a blessing” says Whitlock.

The show is geared to shed awareness on the many women who work so hard in the fashion/entertainment industry. During the month of January, polls were opened for people/supporters all around Atlanta to send in names of someone they respected, supported, and admired in the industry. This year over 100 names were sent in.  Some of the categories for recognition are make up artist, blogger/media, photographer, designer, professional, event specialist, model and boutique. This star studded event will be complete with a catered dinner, drinks, music, a mega runway show, and above all empowerment!

Please visit the Runwayink website for more information on the company and its upcoming events.

6FO [Audio] Bout My PayPuh

(New Brunswick, New Jersey) - Bred on the rough streets of the East Coast, and nestled in between Philly and NYC, a soon to be star named 6FO has emerged from the concrete rubble and chaos known as Central Jersey. Coming off a brief hiatus after personal challenges like the well documented shooting of his close friend and collaborator E-9 (via Hip-HopDX), as well as the birth of his son, New Brunswick, NJ rapper 6FO is ready to make the push to the next level in his career. While 6FO is still gaining new fans and attention from the blogs, some Hip-Hop fans and media know 6FO from his XXL The Break feature in 2011 as well is his song "M.O.N.E.Y." which featured Waka Flocka. "Jersey is a hard place to come up from. Being surrounded by Philly and NYC our identity gets hidden sometimes since we don't have our own radio station for hip-hop. To see 24 years out here is a huge achievement, this is the survival of the strongest and the hustlers. You have to use your brain and wit to live a long life out here," 6FO explained. "I'm street savvy and well respected, and I'm not glorifying the madness and chaos of the streets, but I've found a way to navigate through the struggle." The song "Bout My PayPuh" speaks of the adversity that many people in the struggle can relate to; losing a close friend, family members facing health issues and finding a way to provide for your family. 6FO plans to bring it home in the coming weeks as he will be releasing visuals filmed in his ancestral home of Ghana. Viewers can expect raw visuals that showcase the struggles of people on the other side of the Atlantic and provide a rugged backdrop for the struggle that 6FO represents. "Representing the struggle is typical, but for it to be really heartfelt and to connect with fans I decided to take it to the hood in Ghana, where people can really see and understand the struggle of a whole other type," 6FO said. "This time around I'm trying to give it my all, this is my passion, I can't let E-9 die in vain, I gotta keep my brother's name alive. I flew to a whole other country and shot this video. I'm leaving the porch for a better way, I'm trying to get there man I'm trying to make it."

Day 26 and the TWITTER Only Interview!

Destiny decided to do something a little different with this interview.  Instead of asking the same boring questions,  she had real fans tweet real questions! Here's what Willie and Brian from Day 26 had to say about it all!

1. @1smoothnicca wants to know:
“Having a Billboard topping debut album, then pretty much starting over, has it driven yal or taught you anything that will help you all moving forward?”

B: I can honestly say that one thing we have learned along the way is really appreciate each other a whole lot more and understanding each others work and each others value.  Day 26 is not Day 26 without all 5 members.  Of course you know at one point we went down to 4 but as you can see we are back at 5 cause its just not right.  That’s one thing we’ve all learned to do is definitely appreciate each other.

2. @leonchestnut wants to know:
“How did playing out the early phase of your career on TV affect your friendship and you personally?”

W: the only thing that I can say about being on television is life has definitely changed forever.  You can’t go anywhere and people not notice you.  I don’t know if it affects our friendship.  We’ve always been coo, we’ve always seen each other as brothers. Even through our differences, family has differences but its no big deal.  It was never anything that couldn’t be resolved; it never went over and beyond.  I don’t really think TV had that much to do with it. If anything, it just gave us a platform to be able to drop this independent EP on tomorrow.
B: Yes tomorrow,  which is June 26th, the day that Day 26 returns.

3. @Joshua_the_gr8 wants to know:
“If you weren’t a musician, what would you be? “
B: I'd be a porn star.  I would be a music exec, don’t get me wrong, but id be a porn star…if I could. Beautiful women, you can have your way with them! I’m playing im playing!
W: I would definitely still be in the music industry. Id be an exec, probably running some company.

4.  @Imcamquotes wants to know:
“Willie, What is your opinion on the name "Chiraq" being used as a nickname for Chicago?”

W: I hate it. Its stupid. It should never be used again. Death of it. I want to shoot it in the face. Kill it. People should come down here to Chicago ILINOIS is what its called. You can say Chi-Town, Chi-City, we will take anything , Just don’t use my city as a war zone.  Because it eggs the younger guys on and they continue. Like “oh yea, we Chiraq” I’m like no! your still stupid cause you’re all dying!

5. @marlainadona wants to know:
“even though the deal with diddy didn’t work out the way you originally planned, do you regret being on the show?”

B: We would never ever regret it. That was a blessing.
W: Let me tell yal something. The type of money that I have made from just singing alone would make this TV show the Shiz-nit.
It gave me a platform.  I can always work no matter what.  I know how to make money from it.  It’s been awesome. I can’t complain about it at all.  Cause you think about all the years that I wasn’t on the TV show compared to the ones I was and then after I think the pros out weights the cons.”

6. @_donna_draper wants to know:
“How do you maintain normalcy living such a highly publicized life?”
B: I just keep my private life private.  That’s mine, that’s not for everybody.  So basically what I do  when I’m not doing day26 business  is my business.  Its sad that sometimes the media  tries to pick and pry  into a person’s private life. Especially with kids. I be reading the blogs , and you know with little blue and north , and sometimes people act like they don’t have hearts cause they say whatever and go in on these little bitty babies!  So I just keep my private life private.  That’s the best way.  You can say whatever you want to say about me but don’t talk about my private life.

7. @_logotti
“What’s your most memorable performance?”
W: over in London, in 02, that was the most amazing show to me because , we came out, performed at the top of our game,….we had people fainting and falling over each other, crying.  It was just one of those experiences like if I ever had a Michael Jackson experience that was my Michael Jackson experience.  It was just over the top.  You looking in the audience like, im looking at you , you looking at me, then you just pass the fuck out.

B: I was overseas for my birthday, and the entire crowd sung me happy birthday while the rest of the fellas brought out a cake for me.  I had no idea that was gonna happen.

*SIDE NOTE:
After mentioning that I was in Indianapolis, Brian told me he loves it in Indy, because we have beautiful women here! That shocked me because it seems like women here don’t get much credit from celebrities when they visit the city so BIG UPS to BRIAN for recognizing! Haha  !

L-Dro speaks on His Major Influences, Mixtapes, and What His Favorite Pastime Is...

Destiny recently spoke with L-Dro, a new artist out of Akron Ohio!

How did you come up with the name L-Dro?
“As a kid, just from habits, I picked up on when I was younger.  It was little dro but when I got older I just took the older part off and kept the L….and the dro part is pretty much self explanatory.”

2. Who are your influences in music?

“My Main influences are tupac, biggie, jayz, nas, scarface, az, jadakiss, big L, big pun, rappers like that. There’s too many to name all of them.”

3. Describe yourself in 3 words

“Charismatic, Driven, Funny”

4.  You are doing your FIRST mixtape with DJ Don Cannon.  Tell us what its like to do your first project with such a legend and how did that come about?

“Its definitely a honor. Ive been a fan of Don Cannon's work ever since I first heard him on Young Jeezy’s debut album.  So to actually be able to work with him and meet him, interact with him and rock with him is a privilege you know what I mean. It came about from me just being at the right place at the right time and the right opportunity presented itself and I just landed in a good situation.”

5.  You said in your bio that the key to success is working twice as hard as the next man.  What are some things you like to do to relax?

“What do I do to relax? Honestly, I smoke a lot of weed. “

6. Who are some artist you would like to work with in the future?

“As far as industry names, I would definitely like to work with the legends like jay z, nas and jadakiss; those types of artists. And there is a lot of newer cats that spit heat  like meek jcole Kendrick lamar nispsy hustle.  Those type of rappers that really have substance in their music.”

7.  What are your new projects coming up?

“Right now Im putting the finishing touches my new mixtape called In Us We Trust.  The last mixtape, Drohio, was hosted by Don Cannon, this one is hosted by DJ Drama. I got production from the Olympics, the Justice League, Static Selektah; a bunch of different producers.  It’s a dope project.   The first single off that is getting to the money.”

8.  How can people find you online?

“You can check out the last mixtape with don cannon, drohio on datpiff, livemixtapes, midwestmixtapes. Its all over the place. You can catch me on twitter at @drohio330, same thing on instagram.  I got videos up on youtube. Just type in L-Dro. And majorhustleent.com”

9.  Anything else you want the people to know?

“Ill be in LA this weekend for the BET awards. I got a few things lined up out there. Like I said im putting the finishing touches on this Mixtape , in us we trust hosted by DJ Drama,  that will be out in July.  And the video for getting to the money will be out soon. We gon keep it movin and keep improving”
