"I'm Drinkin" by J Styles

(Los Angeles, CA) - Bred just north of Los Angeles, rapper J Styles always favored the opposite East Coast. Whether it was his desire to get out of his small town, his admiration for Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z, or simply the way he talked, dressed and stylistically mirrored East Coast, J Styles has always stuck out.
Growing up in a small town across the way from a state penitentiary with little opportunity, when J Styles he turned 17 he moved to the city in LA to pursue his dreams of being a rapper, where he continues to pursue his career today.
"Its a small town with nothing but Bloods and Esés, with not much money in the town, with little opportunity for jobs, all people can do is get in trouble. I got friends locked up and jail," J Styles explained. "Both of my brothers are locked up. I had to make the move and make a gamble and see what happened."
Since then J Styles has made his mark on the LA scene getting noticed by clothing brands like Popular Demand, getting spins from well known local club DJs at SupperClub and Playhouse and popping bottles with artists like OT Genasis.
"There's an A side and B side to life just like with records or tapes . There's the A side where there's a better life than drugs and jail, and there's the B side that leads to jail and a lot of things you don't want," J Styles explained.
In the mean time J Styles is focused on the release of his music. Currently J Stylesis pushing his song "I'm Drinkin", that has a great Summer feel to the record. He is also focused on putting together a project called Questionable Cause set for release this quarter.
