@LeekHustle [Video] Trappin Forreal

(Detroit, MI) - Life in the streets always has complications from day to day, but over the years the game has gotten more and more complicated. As this video will tell you, with so many snitches an rats in the game, most of the real hustlers are locked up. But while the the real ones are few and far between, Detroit emcee Leek Hustle prides himself on maintaining a work ethic unmatched by most hustlers. Growing up in a rough situation in Detroit, Leek Hustle looks back on those days an inspiration for his 100 MG movement that continues to make waves on Detroit's Hip-Hop scene. "Our movement 100MG started about a year or two ago, me my cousin basically just wanted to give people that real raw, not lollipop rap,"Leek Hustle explains. "From lyrics to storytelling to the trap to talking about relationships with women, it's me, it's genuine and it's 100% authentic as you can tell." After opening up for a host of big acts across the Midwest, Leek Hustle has developed a movement respected for their ambition and street acumen. In his most recent video for "Trappin Forreal" the Detroit trap rapper shares his world through the eyes of video director Jerry PHD who also directed Dej Loaf's "Try Me" visual. "The video director Jerry PHD also shot Dej Loaf's "Try Me," we shot the video on Detroit's West-Side, and just tried to bring my 'hood to life," Leek Hustle explained. Leek Hustle's Hustle Mann project is due out at the top of the year. www.leekhustle@gmail.com

Wallet Green [Video] Dont Cha

(Los Angeles, CA) - In Los Angeles, there's a lot of myths about the ways of life in the streets. There's also a lot of truth to what people say about the struggles of coming up in South Central, one of America's most notoriously dangerous inner cities. If anyone knows the truth of the matter, its LA bred talent Wallet Green who remained neutral despite growing up just blocks away from regular gang violence and other dangerous street activity. But with a focus to be more and having found success with the songs, "Sittin High" and "Let Me See Something" early on in his career, Wallet Green built on his early successes eventually releasing and ode to his hometown "LA" featuring RJ and Compton AV. Now Wallet Green is prepping for his new EP, with the song "Don't Cha," produced by an Atlantic Records signed producer named "Composer" and is mixed and mastered by famed production group 1500 or Nothin. "Right now I'm just trying get more visuals done and keep the music coming consistently. This time around I'm just looking to keep the music coming and keep the music current. I'm just at the point I just don't want to hold anything back," Wallet Green explained. The track will be on Wallet's The Green Ticket EP, named after his Mill Ticket Music Group and his Mill Ticket Casting Agency that has been highly successful in Hollywood booking talent for artists like Drake, Tyga, Chris Brown, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar and other musicians.

(ANTIOCH, California) - If you know about finessin', then you know about the trap and all the things that come with that world. Enter, Paul Allen a rapper well versed in the language of the streets and the life that comes with the trap lifestyle. While not glorifying the life of drugs and trafficking but focusing more on the work ethic and a drive to be the best, Paul Allen is preparing for the release of his sequel effort Finesse Kid 2. To prepare for the release the SODMG affiliated artist is releasing his Zaytoven produced song, "Trap House." "We shot the video live from the homie's house where we hang out at. The song is called "Trap House" so it was only right that I took it to the trap. It's just me and the homies doing what we normally do. There's traps all around the world, So on this visual I'm showing the people my version of that," Paul Allen explained From the hoods to the 'burbs, the trap has taken over and in many ways become an influential part of Hip-Hop culture. Finesse Kid 2 is the epitome of that attitude and culture. "Finesse Kid 2 is the sequel to the Finesse Kid project I released a few months back. This is my equivalent of Friday & Next Friday coming with the next big bang. Not putting too many features on this project but more focusing on better production this time around, Paul Allen said. "I'm presenting a more mature artist behind the mic showing my growth. I'm excited how FK2 has come out and I can't wait for the world to hear "Trap House" and the rest of Finesse Kid 2."

Amazing to see their work ethic given how much weed they smoke and lean they sip. "I think going through the accidents and going through the 3 different times when God almost took my life def changed me. You know at this point, in my head I believe God gonna take me when he gonna take me, sowhat the f*ck am I going to sit around and think about that shit for?" So Gaudy explained. NEW MUSIC REVIEW! Michael Tracy "Gonna Smile"

Genre: Rock

Michael Tracy’s new project “Gonna Smile”, opens with an upbeat song, reminiscent of the Beatles.  The fast pace and feel good lyrics are sure to get your feet tapping and head bobbing.  The breakdown after the chorus leaves you air guitaring in the middle of your room. The album then digs deep and gives you the essence of a rock album.  The guitar and bass allows you to escape from your reality and immerse yourself in the lyrics.  Overall , this album is true to the rock form.  Gritty, hard, and full of emotion.  Michael Tracy fans won't be let down with this project.

Check out Michaels new music and news here: http://michael-tracy.com

NEW MUSIC REVIEW: Andria Simone "Evolve"

Genre: Blues/Rock

Andria’s latest project starts off with a bang; A subtle bang.  A smooth, sensual mood is set with the album opener.  I can definitely see these songs played at a local lounge, full of smoke and dusty whiskey bottles; floors creaking as patrons shuffle to the bar.    The album then transitions into more of a rock/jazz classic.  This whole album takes us up and down. From sexy melodies to hard rock strings.  Andria definitely out did herself with this one.  These songs seem to be perfect for live performances and will definitely leave concert goers satisfied.  Reaching fans across the board, Evolve bridges the gap between blues and rock, uniting fans from to opposite ends of the spectrum.

Roc & Yella [Video] Lost Alot

(Orangeburg, South Carolina) - Its a been a tumultuous several months for the state of South Carolina. First the shooter who killed nine in the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in the summer and now floods are destroying property across the state this week. But despite the tough times, Roc & Yella have persevered despite it all and are continuing to make their music heard. Despite having "Lost Alot" they are still pushing and making strides on their local rap scene. Kicking things off this Fall, the group is pushing the street ready song, "Lost Alot." The song details all they have lost on their way to achieving their goals of stardom in Hip-Hop and is theme local fans on their scene can appreciate given the circumstances in South Carolina. "During the time we made this song we were both going through each of the situations that we talk about in the song, so this is real life situations we felt so it was easy to write this song," Yella explained. "The song 'Lost Alot' is for all those that we lost. Its a heart felt record. We lost a friend behind a car accident not long ago so this is a tribute to those that are dead or in jail or prison or that are away," Roc explained. The biological cousins who have done everything together since kids say the scene in South Carolina, "has a ton of talent." But while there is talent, they still feel they have to climb out of the crab bucket to become one of first acts to break onto the national scene from their state. "There's been a rapper from nearly every state in the South except for South Carolina and we feel we can be the first one's to do it," rapper Roc explained. "Its cool though, we got a lot of talent that makes dope music, so I feel it's coming soon." "Yea to that, its like people want to see you do good, but they don't want to see you do better than them, so its like its crabs in a bucket out here" Yella said of his home state. "I think once this DJ Burn One project comes out people will see where things are going for us." Look out for more from the guys soon, as they will be dropping more tracks from their diverse catalogue of songs set to be featured on the project with DJ Burn One who will be executive producer on the street album, Ain't No Loyalty. The project will be narrated by @djblord who is one of the biggest DJ's in South Carolina.

G U N [Audio] My Trap feat MPA

(Dallas, TX) - With his real buzz growing via sites like Hip-HopDx, Noisey and other southern staples like TrapsNTrunks, ThaFixx and Dirty Glove Bastard, Dallas rapper G.U.N. is prepared to unload on the Hip-Hop world with his new EP which is a prelude to this G.U.N. Theory EP. Produced entirely by Franchise Beats, G.U.N. is kicking in the door with his single "My Trap." G.U.N. completely embodies all that is the trap and he absolutely demolishes this slow paced trap anthem definitely worth the repeat play. From finessing pills to moving weight, G.U.N. flips the beat and accompanies his verse with spastic overdubs that only he could create. "Franchise Beats has that sound, and I just knew I wanted to work with him more and more as we began to work together more and more," G.U.N. explained. "He sounds like a young 808 or a young Metro Boomin." G.U.N.'s label (DEMG) has snowballed in to Dallas' most popular youth movement on the scene having managed Justus (featured on Dr. Dre's Compton album) who signed with the D.O.C.and Dr. Dre. Couple that with co-hort Post Malone shedding light on Dallas and G.U.N. has gotten a great response nationally with just a limited number of releases. "The song 'My Trap' I came up with that in trap - real shit. I was just talkin sh*t with one of my homies the other day in his trap house and I was just telling him how my trap was more boomin than his. So we just started going back and forth and the melody on the hook kinda got stuck in my head, so I just put it on the beat and it worked for me," G.U.N. recalled. Be sure to go look for G.U.N.'s new prelude EP Oct 2nd via all popular digital retailers. Soundcloud link and art is available below! J Styles [Audio] Im Drinkin

ITUNES LINK: "I'm Drinkin" by J Styles https://itun.es/us/Nlwi6 (Los Angeles, CA) - Bred just north of Los Angeles, rapper J Styles always favored the opposite East Coast. Whether it was his desire to get out of his small town, his admiration for Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z, or simply the way he talked, dressed and stylistically mirrored East Coast, J Styles has always stuck out. Growing up in a small town across the way from a state penitentiary with little opportunity, when J Styles he turned 17 he moved to the city in LA to pursue his dreams of being a rapper, where he continues to pursue his career today. "Its a small town with nothing but Bloods and Esés, with not much money in the town, with little opportunity for jobs, all people can do is get in trouble. I got friends locked up and jail," J Styles explained. "Both of my brothers are locked up. I had to make the move and make a gamble and see what happened." Since then J Styles has made his mark on the LA scene getting noticed by clothing brands like Popular Demand, getting spins from well known local club DJs at SupperClub and Playhouse and popping bottles with artists like OT Genasis. "There's an A side and B side to life just like with records or tapes . There's the A side where there's a better life than drugs and jail, and there's the B side that leads to jail and a lot of things you don't want," J Styles explained. In the mean time J Styles is focused on the release of his music. Currently J Stylesis pushing his song "I'm Drinkin", that has a great Summer feel to the record. He is also focused on putting together a project called Questionable Cause set for release this quarter.

Chevy Woods [Video] Now That Im Up

YOUTUBE EMBED: (Pittsburgh, PA) - Having been bubbling as a mixtape king in the streets of Pittsburgh several years prior to joining Wiz Khalifa on the Waken Baken tour in 2010, Chevy Woods‘ legacy is well-renowned in his hometown as he’s continued to make waves abroad with the Taylor Gang. “Now That I’m Up” follows Woods‘ SXSW I Love Texas EP, which he released during the week of the festival, and his Gangland 3 mixtape, which released at the top of the year. Co-produced by fellow Pittsburgher Sledgren and Chicagoan RMB Justize, the trunk-rattling trap beat for “Now That I’m Up” compliments Chevy Woods‘ boastful auto-tuned raps. Filmed just south of Pittsburgh, blue and red coloring detach Woods from the grayscale backgrounds of a construction yard and vintage car garage, which bares a TGOD graffiti tag.
